- What type of lettering is this?
It is pre-spaced, pre-pasted individually cut letters made of a thin matte vinyl material. Easy to apply and will look as if painted on your surface. The vinyl letters are thin and equivalent to about 2-3 coats of paint, and will not fade or crack.
- What does pre-spaced mean? Can I have lettering on multiple lines or spacing?
Pre-spaced means the lettering is positioned and spaced for you. If you choose to have a phrase on three lines, it will be set up for you just as your ordered in the Accent-It-Yourself center. The lettering will arrive as a single roll of text which you can apply all at one time. You can also choose to cut between words or letters to place them in a creative layout. The possibilities are endless.
- Where can I apply the lettering?
The vinyl can be applied to any clean, smooth and non-porous surface. Painted walls with light to medium texture, including orange peel and knock down are fine. Most wallpapers, wood, furniture, glass, metal, ceramic tile, sinks, shower doors and mail boxes will work fine. It will not stick to rough or uneven surfaces like cinder block, brick, porous aluminum or stucco surfaces.
- How can I be sure of the color?
The color samples will vary based on your computer. If you are interested in receiving a sample, just email us and we will gladly send you the color samples you desire.
- Is the lettering removable?
Yes, and it is easy to do. The vinyl works well for homeowners and renters because they will not damage your wall. There is a possibility the paint around the letters will fade over time. Just peel them off the wall like a sticker, if they have been up for a while you can soften the adhesive with a blow dryer first.
- How will I know how long my wall quote will be?
Every font is different and length of words or phrase will vary. In the Accent-It-Yourself center, you will have the width of the phrase provided for you.
- How is my wall lettering and wall art measured for height? What does 1" or 2" mean?
We measure the total height. This means from the top of the tallest letter(l,k,h) to the bottom of the lowest letter(y,g,q). If you order your phrase in 2”, that will be the total phrase height. So, each individual letter will not be 2” tall. We try to make sure every customer understands this when ordering. Please contact us if you have any additional questions relating to the size.
- How will my vinyl lettering or art arrive?
It will arrive ready to apply. The top of your lettering is perfectly level and will make it easy to put up in a straight line. The vinyl is cut off of individual rolls, so if you ordered two different colors, they will arrive as two different pieces. If you ordered a very long quote it may come in two or more pieces.
- How do I tell you details about my order?
During the last steps of the order process there is a message section. This is a good place to give us any additional information regarding your order. Any specifics you would like to give us are appreciated and can also be emailed to us.
- What if I can't find a design or font on your website?
Just email us and let us know what you are looking for. We have too many fonts to show on our website. So, even if you don’t see it we most likely will have it available for you.
- What are my payment options?
You can purchase by credit card, Paypal or money order.
- How long does it take for an order to process?
Your order is shipped no later than 3 business days from the date of your order. For example, if your order on Monday, it will be shipped no later than Thursday. Or if you ordered on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, it will be shipped out no later than the next Wednesday.
- What are my shipping options?
We use USPS Priority Shipping with Delivery Confirmation Tracking for our U.S. deliveries which cost $4.95. Delivery time is approximately 3 business days.
- What is your return policy?
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your lettering, return it within 30 days from purchase. You can choose to have us redo your lettering at no additional charge or we will refund you the cost of your purchase minus the shipping.
